Large Law Firm requires a ambitious and motivated Senior Cashier to join their team of 14 others including 9 people working in the Cashier Role. While the role does not require line management responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to monitor and review the day to day work of the reconciliation team and assist the Head of Cashier's in providing financial and other information to the partnership.

Candidates will be expected to be commited to improving the overall profitablity of the firm by providing efficient, cost effective, relevant and accurate work, as required.

In addition the post holder will have individual responsibility for: reconcilling client ledgers; providing additional analysis and investigations in response to queries raised by staff and Partners of the firm; managing technological advances and changes to enhance the systems and reduce costs of the firm; and releasing electronic funds from banking systems,

Applicants will need to have 5 years legal cashiers experience at management level, be eductaed to degree standardsor possess equivalent relevant training / experience in a professional services environment, demonstrate a good working knowledge of the Solicitors Account Rules and have used Excel / Lotus spreadsheets to an intermediate / advanced level.

The ability to cope with tight deadlines, work outside normal hoursand deal with clients at all levels from Office Junior to Head of Departments, to interpret, undertsand and implement users' requirements are also essential.
