Description

To manage the planning, programming and progress control as an integral member of project teams, responsible for all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works. To liase with clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers and local authorities and undertakings on all matters relating to planning and programming. Appraisal and co-ordination of subcontractors programmes. To prepare and present reports on programme and progress of all aspects of projects, and to attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetings. Contribute to progress control as a member of the project team. Assist in the management of change in regards of impact on programmes and progress. Manage and carry out the preparation of tenders, including temporary works enquiries, method statements and programmes. Attend tender settlement/pre-contract meeting to explain the planning aspects of the contract. To prepare comprehensive site layouts and prepare presentations as necessary (PowerPoint). To be based in the Regional office travelling to sites as an integral part of the site teams. To be a member of the Regional planning team in implementing Regional and Company procedures.
