Position Description:
Active management of the construction process at site level on Design and Build projects. Manage and implement the whole quality process in accordance with the Quality Plan. Ensuring that Inspection and Test Plans are prepared and implemented. Be responsible and co-operate with the Project Manager to ensure work is planned and undertaken in accordance with the Project Safety, Health and Environmental Plan. Ensure all contractors and subcontractors undertake risk assessments, establish, demonstrate and maintain safe systems of work as part of developing SHE programme. Plan, organise, implement, review and monitor their procedures with respect to Environmental impact. Overall responsibility for the implementation of the Project Environmental Plan within the Ensure that the subcontractor supplier’s contractual programmes are within the required timescale. Liase with the Planner to ensure that the contract programme is acceptable. Monitor the progress of work against programme and advise on acceleration measures to retrieve any lost time. Responsible for contractual matters relating to Sub-contractors and necessary correspondence is raised. Ensure a method statement schedule is produced and that sub-agents are managing the process such that delays to the works are not experienced. Chair and minute weekly sub contractors meeting and attend client meetings. Be pro-active in obtaining design information with required time-scales for production work. Ensure that all sub contractors and suppliers plans and procedures are compatible with the discharge of the clients obligations and responsibilities. Liaison with Building Control and all other Statutory bodies and Utilities. |
