Position Description:
You will be involved in running transport-planning projects with support from an experienced team. Typical work includes advising developers on transportation issues affecting their projects. You will also be involved in forecasting, micro-simulation, Traffic Impact Assessments and project appraisal. A formal qualification in a Transport Planning related subject is preferred. Must have gained a qualification in a numerate subject e.g. Transportation Planning, civil engineering, maths, science, geography etc. Some industry experience with a consultancy, local authority or government department would be of advantage. Must have knowledge of the local region, culture and business climate.
