Position Description:
ARCHITECT required by a multi-disciplined consultancy based in Leeds to work on a range of architectural projects (from large scale residential schemes to educational buildings). Duties include: Taking whole projects from feasibility through to site. Creating and managing production information packages for large scale projects. Submission and management of applications such as planning, building regulation and BREEAM applications. Preparation of specifications (NBS). Attending meetings, site visits and contract administration. Preparation of reports such as design statements and feasibility reports. Key Competencies: The successful candidate must be proficient in the technical aspects of architecture, as listed above, and possess the appropriate client liaison skills. Skills: You will need some CAD experience but can be given in house training. Knowledge of desk top publishing would also be advantageous. Qualifications: You should be an Architect registered with the Architect’s Registration Board. Personal Qualities: Must be able to function within teams and be flexible to manage your time working on a portfolio of projects. Experience: Any post-part III experience considered. Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience. |
