Your role will be to work as part of a team on a number of projects at any given time and will report to an Associate or Associate Director and be responsible for planning and delegation of work, day to day management of more junior staff as well as the execution of projects themselves.
You will be responsible for acting as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, managing relationships possibly with a view to future business development to assist in the expansion of the South-East office and the Southern regions development planning division. You should also be alert to opportunities of follow on work in associated areas with existing client relationships.

You will be an experienced engineer /planner, with significant experience in Transport Assessments, Green Travel Plans, negotiations with Local Highway Authorities and transport input into strategic and local planning processes.
You will have a sound knowledge of preliminary junction layouts and analysis, assessment software so as to enable you to delegate to and accurately interpret the work of others. Experience across a range of development sectors would also be an advantage, as would some previous experience in client care/business development.
