Position Description:
A highly regarded Architectural practice is looking to bring in an Architectural Technologist to help with the company’s current extensive project portfolio.

Our client is well established as a residential developer and has grown and emerged to encompass and offer services in all spheres of the architectural design process within leisure, residential and commercial projects. This medium sized architectural practice currently employs a number of professional staff including architectural designers, chartered building surveyors and architectural technologists. Now, due to an increased workload the company is looking to recruit an Architectural Technologist to assist with their varied and interesting property development projects.

Currently the company are working mainly within the residential sector and so are looking to recruit a technologist with relevant experience in this area of design.

The day to day role of the Architectural Technician will be to work in the technical department alongside other
technicians reporting back to the Technical Manager. You will be assigned several projects running your own sites. You will be required to produce working drawings using AutoCAD, liaising with outside consultancies plus local authorities, producing layout designs of estates (this is negotiable dependent upon experience), attend weekly design management meetings on progress.
