Position Description:

This job involves being directly responsible for teams of people ensuring that access to the service is easy and efficient. You will interface with senior client and other key stakeholders to positively promote our client, also ensuring that our client’s standards continue to develop and improve.
Responsibilities:
• To deliver a robust, proactive customer service function ensuring the business delivers sustainable and consistently high levels of customer and satisfaction.
• To lead, manage and motivate a customer focussed team, enabling them to do what is right for the customer.
• To put in place robust performance measurements, including benchmarking, to monitor customer satisfaction and to ensure that a continuous improvement programme is in place.
• Deliver a workforce development programme combined with inspirational internal communication that motivates and enthuses all our people around our customer service vision and business success.
• To identify, co-ordinate and deliver training and development needs on customer service.
• To support the Bid Team in the compilation of documentation relating to customer service.
We need a dynamic and experienced customer services manager who can motivate staff and who will deliver our commitment to ensuring that customers are central to all our activities. You will need drive and tenacity and be willing to challenge existing practices in order to keep this business at the top of its class.
Person Specification:
• A proven track record of customer service Industry/ Sector knowledge
• Proven management experience
• Problem solving approach
• Willingness to travel anywhere in the North of England
• Driving licence essential
