Position Description:
Due to an expanding work load, the M & E Department in the Leeds Office has an opportunity for a Senior Building Services Mechanical Engineer to join the core team.
The Leeds M&E team is able to grow on the back of their continuing success and high level of secured work. The team is currently involved in a wide diversity of projects in a range of sectors.
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a key part in the delivery of projects within the team.
The Senior Engineer will manage their own projects, undertake detailed design to the required standards and take into full consideration CDM and QA standards, and the programme deadlines.
The successful candidate will also be involved assisting the team leader in resourcing projects, to achieve the required standard and deadlines. They will liaise with design teams to develop the construction working details, attending detail design meetings as necessary and liaison with Trade Contractors.
Work as part of an engineering team, taking a senior role in project work to deliver Projects, focused on production and Client liaison. Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team will form a core objective.
The successful candidate must have a proven ability to work within a team completing detailed design engineering, calculations, site supervision and liaison of work for a variety of projects.
Good communication skills, and team working skills are essential.
