Position Description:
Freelance engineering manager wanted for a large National company based in Leeds.
The contract will run for 12 months with an option of further contract work.
The candidate should have a good grounding in mechanical engineering with an ability to adapt to new situations.
The role itself will involve providing an effective project engineering service from the design phase to the commencement of the build itself. Assisting the business development process, leading engineering aspects of each project (off-site design and CAD) providing manufacturing support and leading new product development for specific opportunities.
You will preferably be experienced in Manufacturing drawings, HSE knowledge, CDM knowledge, planning, AUTOCAD and systems documentation.
An additional understanding of buying methods and an understanding of planning/programming techniques and relevant installation, testing and commission knowledge would be advantageous.
