Temporary Systems Administrator

£8.45 per hour

Job Summary

We are currently looking to fill a brand new role to Linear Recruitment, Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and updating our current systems which include:

  • CRM System

  • Internal HR database

  • Company website and CRM integration

  • Internal Voip Phone network

The successful applicant will enjoy working to a project list, be used to managing their own time, be used to working in a changing environment and have the ability to resolve any issues they have found. They will be expected to update and adapt systems in line with companywide objectives and to ensure the company employees are updated on the latest tools available and the processes behind them. Another key aspect of the role will be to liaise with external providers to ensure we have the latest upgrades and report any issues that can not be resolved internally. Initially this will be a temporary position for 6 months, as we near this time we will review the project list to see if additional time is needed or if we need to change the temporary position into a permanent position. The successful applicant will also be welcome to apply for internal permanent roles that may become available

Duties to Include 

  • Work closely with HR to determine system needs and plan for system changes

  • Develop methods and tools to be used to train systems users

  • Create projects that are designed to either add functionality required by the company or to address ongoing system issues

  • Evaluate and Modify system performance and troubleshoot issues

  • Make recommendations for future projects and upgrades

Skills and Qualities

  • Must be able to work to project deadlines

  • Effective problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

Administrator/office experience is desirableSystems experience is not essential as long as you are willing to learn, have a keen eye for detail, you are super organised and take pride in your work. Confidentiality is also essential as you will be working closely with the HR team.
