Friday 9th October saw representatives from South Yorkshire’s leading house builders, construction firms and associated suppliers gather at Cutlers’ Hall in Sheffield for the annual Celebrating Construction in South Yorkshire Awards (CCISY).
At Linear, we’re delighted to be involved in celebrating the success of South Yorkshire’s construction companies for yet another year. This time round, Linear sponsored the Training Award which was deservedly scooped-up by Doncaster’s St Leger Homes.
Andrew Nortcliffe, CIOB Sheffield and South Yorkshire Centre Chairman, said, ‘These awards celebrate the region’s commitment to building communities and highlight the broad spectrum of construction excellence delivered by businesses working in the area. They demonstrate what can be achieved through strong partnerships, a clear vision and delivery through high quality implementation.’
And the CCISY Awards shares its success by partnering with The Children’s Hospital Charity – a cause close to our heart here at Linear. In fact, Friday’s ceremony raised £2,500 to support the charity’s amazing work. David Vernon-Edwards, director of The Children’s Hospital Charity said, ‘the support of CIOB and the CCISY Awards ceremony guests means we can transform the hospital with world-class facilities to match the world-class care received by children on our wards. Over £16,000 has now been raised by the CCISY Awards over the past seven years and we are so grateful for their continued efforts and generous contribution to our appeal.’
A massive, well deserved congratulations goes to all those who contributed to the success of the CCISY Awards 2015 – we look forward to seeing you next year!
