£25,000 - £45,000 per annum
Job DescriptionLinear Recruitment are working with a Leading Housing Contractor on the recruitment of a Health and Safety Officer for Social Housing Refurbishment work in the North East.
Main Duties and Responsibilities-
Assist to develop, implement and manage a companywide health and safety framework ensuring it is in line with best practice, regulatory and legislative requirements.
You will keep up to date on current trends in health & safety best practice and legislation and provide necessary information and advice to staff, contractors and stakeholders on ensuring that health & safety is effectively managed to current standards.
Carry out a programme of risk-based health & safety audits in the preparation of reports to ensure all H&S performance targets are being met and recommending any actions required.
Managing health and safety issues in your area of responsibility in line with the relevant section(s) of the relevant Health and Safety Policy.
Complying with confidentiality and information security policies at all times.
Carrying out effective accident reporting and investigations including informing relevant parties of reportable incidents in a timely manner.
Ensure that the company complies with all Health & Safety Legislation and that changes in legislation are communicated and implemented.
NEBOSH or Equivalent
The Successful Candidate will receive a competitive Salary and Package including Car Allowance and Bonus etc.
