Linear Recruitment is a leading independent Construction Recruitment business with offices in Sheffield, Manchester & Newcastle.


In our Newcastle office we are currently recruiting for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our high performing Trades & Labour team. You will provide recruitment and administrative support for the onboarding and recruitment process.


Applicants should be comfortable working in Phone Sales environment.


Responsibilities:



  • Attract and source candidates through advertising (Indeed, Total Jobs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc), networking and identifying new methods

  • Pre screen and interview candidates and put forward for relevant positions

  • Help manage all client requirements and match suitable candidates to positions available

  • Have the ability to multitask and work within a pressured environment


Applicants should have:



  • Ideally 1 years' experience as a Recruitment Resourcer or in a Customer Service or Telesales environment

  • Confident when using Microsoft Office Software

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • An individual who is self-motivated and independent, with excellent organisational skills

  • Prepared to go the ‘extra mile’ and to possess tenacity and determination

  • You will need to have a good telephone manner
