For us, our operations go beyond recruitment. As a local business we believe we have a social responsibility to help those that need it and as an employment agency we are in an industry that can make a real difference. Our company is deeply committed to uplifting and transforming communities whilst building a more sustainable and inclusive future for all – principles that are embedded in our values.

At Linear Recruitment, we recognise the vital role social value plays in the successful delivery of our projects and the well-being of the communities we serve. Our operations have both direct and indirect social, economic, and environmental impacts, and we are committed to maximising positive outcomes wherever possible.

What commitments are we making?

Community Engagement: Supporting Local Charities

We're proud to have been able to support a number of local charities over the years; this year our two nominated charities are Young Minds and Weston Park Cancer Charity. Over the last five years we have also supported Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity, Daft as a Brush Cancer Charity and TOFS and we've raised almost £12,000.

Community Engagement: Health and Wellbeing

The health and wealth of our workforce is paramount to us; we help promote this through organised team sports and extended lunch breaks for exercise. We also are a proud sponsor of local sports teams to support grassroots clubs.

Employment and Skills

We're working to provide work experience placements to students in the local area, and collaborating with local universities and careers events for graduate recruitment opportunities. We invest in training and development for our employees to support them, their careers and progression.

Helping local people secure employment is paramount; we run workshops to help this - in 2025 we'll be conducting separate workshops on CV writing and interview preparation.

We partner with Stronger Together evidencing our commitment towards tackling modern slavery in our organisation. As members of the 5% Club, we work towards encouraging apprenticeship enrolment and hiring through apprenticeship schemes.
