A team from our Newcastle office spent the day volunteering at The People's Kitchen in October.
The People's Kitchen support homeless and vulnerable people and help fight hunger and loneliness for locals in need, and we were thrilled to be able to help them out for the day.
Duties can include general food prep, cleaning and tidying, washing up, sorting recycling, preparing food parcels, helping with deliveries and helping with posters, display material, fundraising information to name just a few!
It was a busy and tiring day, but we're so happy we were able to give up some time to help them out. Well done to Laura Wilson, Marc Cameron, Elliot Birtwistle Anneliese Clifton and Alyssa Smith.
